We have advanced the technology and the methodology behind Simulating Altitude, including using an advanced algorithm to deliver a unique program for each user. AIRFIT is mask based to ensure precise delivery and monitoring of the (AIRFIT) altitude air.
The problem with effectively simulating altitude, no matter if you are doing the program for increased energy, assistance with weight loss, training for an event be it the fun run or the Olympics, is that everyone will react differently. This is where our individualized program is so important.
The 3 main principles that simulated altitude works on are:
(1) DURATION - the time of each session,
(2) INTENSITY - the altitude delivered, and
(3) FREQUENCY - the number of exposures to altitude within a set period
AIRFIT uses a combination of one or all three components.
AIRFIT uses a short DURATION 1 hour, high INTENSITY 15,000-28,000 ft with a high FREQUENCY (constant cycling between high and low altitude throughout the hour). Our unique built in biofeedback and artificial intelligence delivers a totally individualized program for each user every day. This precision ensures optimal results.
The software takes into account factors like; the quality of sleep, the heart rate during the session (this will vary depending on time of day and what you have been doing prior to your session) and whether the user or their body is tired. For the athlete, this can help with training, ensuring that they don’t enter into ‘over training’ zone.
